Our Flag Badge
Two very special visitors will join us tonight to speak to the scouts about service workers in the military. We will be boxing up our collections for our Adopt-a-Unit program, so please bring your donations if you choose to participate. Please be sure to bring cards for the unit to include in the delivery. Our unit has 60 members and they have received very little mail. If time allows, we will begin work on our Native American badge. Each girl can choose a book about a specific Native American tribe and learn about it at home. Other home projects for this badge include: making a poster about their chosen tribe and making a model of the tribe's home. Girls that choose to work on these requirements can present them on November 19th, when we will have a Native American "Show and Share" and we will make dream catchers. Please let Miss Heather know if you are able to do this project.

Tonight, girls that have chosen to work on these badge requirements will have a Native American "Show and Share." These girls will be sharing with the troop their chosen tribe, brief information they learned, a small poster with details about the tribe, and a model of the tribe's home. We'll also be making dream catchers to take home!
