Mrs. Byassee will be joining us tonight for our first crack at cake decorating! Tenderfoot scouts will be decorating cupcakes, while Explorers will be decorating a two-layer cake!

Miss Lesa is generously planning a fun evening of fellowship. She'll be letting us all know what each family can bring for a traditional turkey dinner. Our beautiful cakes and cupcakes will be served for dessert. Instead of Christmas gifts, we'll be having an eco-friendly raffle for your Island of Misfit Toys. Please bring an unwanted toy/game/stuffed animal, etc. from home for each child that would like to participate in the raffle. Think of it as the ultimate in regifting and recycling!

We'll meet at Deans Mill School and break down into groups to pick-up bags distributed last week for this food for the needy program.
1 - Emergency Demo Day, Old Mystic Firehouse, 2PM-4PM
Join us for an informative afternoon on demonstrations by Mystic River Ambulance, Mystic Fire Department and Stonington Police Department. We'll have a special demonstration from Stonington's first officer/canine duos: Officer Howard and Fritz!
3 - Meeting, Deans Mill School, 6:30PM-8:00PM
Explorers will be finishing up Native American Badge by making kachina dolls. Tenderfoot scouts will be working on the Toys & Games badge and should bring a doll to the meeting.

11 - Roller Skating, Galaxy Roller Rink, 12PM
RSVP to Miss Lesa by Nov. 2nd to get your skating admission money. Scouts must bring their own skates or skate fees, as well as concession money. If you miss this deadline, bring Miss Lesa your recipt and your fees will be refunded.
15 - Bake Sale, Super A&P, 10AM-2PM
Please contact Miss Denise if your family can help with baked goods and/or a shift at our first ever bake sale! Our fundraisers this year will help us become financially independent.

Tonight we'll be tying our quilt for a soldier's family! Join us for some practice with knots!

Let's have a pie festival! Bring enough pie for your family and we can all share. We'll also be boxing up donations for our adopted soldiers and making them Christmas cards. If you have any craft supplies for cards, please share!
