Feel free to drop your scout off for a morning of learning about the Italian tradition of making Easter Bread. Each scout will make one loaf for home and one loaf for our local shelter.

19 -Puppet Show Practice for Explorer Scouts - Miss Heather's House, 2:00PM-4:30PM
This will be the Explorer's final practice for the puppet show they'll present to families at our April Family Meeting.

20 - Regular Meeting, DMS Cafe, 6:30PM-8:00PM
Tonight, we'll do a community outreach program for our furry officer! We'll make homemade dog biscuits for our town's K-9 dog. We'll also read a book about a K-9 dog by a local author and make him and his human partner special cards. We'll also attempt to finish the Our Flag badge.
26 - Religious Award Sunday, Our Diocese's Cathedral, 2:00PM
Scouts should meet downstairs in the Cathedral at 1:30PM. You'll be part of a special ceremony including being the first American Heritage Girls to receive the I LIVE MY FAITH AWARD in Connecticut! Bishop Cote will personally present you with this special medal.
27 - April Family Meeting, OMBC, 6:30PM-8:00PM
This will be our last regular family meeting of the year...we'll move it outdoors for a s'mores roast, puppet show and award ceremony! Each family should bring chairs, blankets, s'more supplies, sticks, etc. for your family. Cups and water will be provided. Miss Denise is also planning a clothing drive for tonight, so feel free to bring any unwanted clothing or other items they collect.

Tonight, we will be continuing our work on the PERSONAL HYGIENE badge. Tenderfoot scouts will be talking about how to care for our bodies. Explorer scouts will be talking about dressing modestly. We'll also begin preparations for our Fashion Show at our March Family Meeting!
